VLP Club Gives Fans a Chance to “Drive” with
Former Cup Champion, Dale Jarrett
 

ON GETTING OUT TO PRACTICE TODAY: HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (February 13, 2008) – Victory Lane Players Club (www.vlpclub.net) is getting back into action with the start of the racing season by launching their first exclusive premier prize experience of 2008. One lucky fan will win a chance to “out-drive” VLP Club driver Dale Jarrett on the lush fairways of one of the best golf courses in the country, Tournament Players Club - Scottsdale.

Starting Thursday, February 14th fans can log onto www.vlpclub.net to play in free weekly Texas Hold ‘Em qualifying tournaments every Thursday at 8 p.m. and every Sunday at 10 p.m. through March 13th. One lucky fan will take home the grand prize experience with Jarrett on the links on April 9th, the week of the Cup race in Phoenix.

This is the first of a number of premier prizes and experiences that the free online gaming site will give away this season. With six of racings top drivers playing weekly on the site fans can expect a host of one-of-a-kind experiences throughout the year.

“I’ve been playing poker against our VLP Club members on the site for a couple months and the competition has been tough,” stated Jarrett. “I’m pretty good at poker and I’ve only won one tournament on the site. Hopefully, it will be a different story when I get the VLP Club winner on the golf course!”

Since launching in September of 2007 all six VLP Club drivers have played in weekly tournaments against VLP Club members with Jarrett, Sadler and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. notching the only driver victories to date. Tony Stewart, Jamie McMurray and Kasey Kahne are still looking for their first tournament win.
