Week Seven Question

Question:  Knowing how much you love basketball, did you ever have any thoughts of playing in the NBA?

Answer:  That's a good question.  I always wanted to race! So, I've been able to have my dream job.  I love the sport, the folks in the garage and all of the fans I've been able to meet. As far as other sports go --  I played a lot of sports in high school.  I was probably better at baseball than basketball. But, baseball always interfered with racing.  So, I tended to focus a little more on basketball because it was during the winter and we weren't racing.  I blew out my knee in college my freshman year and that pretty much ended the basketball thing.  I'm fortunate because now I have a sit down job so the knee injury doesn't hold me back.

I still play a little b ball every now and then. Reed, Denny and myself played a few games down in Daytona.
