Week Twelve Question

Question:  Elliott, we have all heard you talk about getting your dogs ready for hunting in the winter. I know that you love deer hunting, what other types of hunting or gaming do you enjoy?

Answer:  I enjoy being outdoors. I grew up hunting with my Dad and it's something we still get to do together during the winter. He gets to turkey hunt, rabbit hunt and fish a lot during our racing season. We're busy from the middle of January until Thanksgiving so that makes it tough for me to get to do a lot of hunting and fishing during that time. I really enjoy deep sea fishing and will usually try and go on three or four deep sea fishing trips a year.

When it comes to deer hunting, I hunt every single day from the Monday after Homestead until the first Saturday in January -- unless of course I have a sponsor obligation to attend. I love it. We are training our dogs year round now. I just had a big litter of puppies. I enjoy hunting and really enjoy raising dogs.
