ATLANTA
RACE PREVIEW
STATESVILLE,
N.C. - No. 19 Stanley Dodge driver Elliott Sadler is one of the biggest
sports fans in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series garage-if you don't believe
that just look at Sadler's schedule this week.
Sadler Quotes
SADLER ON RACING UNDER THE LIGHTS AT ATLANTA: "It's great to have the
Labor Day race back in the Southeast. Atlanta is a great race track -
it's fast, high-banked and multi-grooved so you can run anywhere. I
think the biggest thing this weekend is racing under the lights. It'll
add speed to an already fast race track. You add in the double file
restarts to make it more interesting. I think it's going to be like the
racing we saw in Charlotte for the All-Star race and the Coke 600. I'm
really looking forward to an entertaining race.
SADLER ON COLLEGE FOOTBALL KICKOFF WEEKEND: "I'm a racecar driver first
and foremost, but I absolutely love college football. I'm so excited for
the season to start this weekend. I'm actually going to two games - I'm
going to be on the South Carolina sideline cheering them on Thursday
night. My spotter is a big Gamecocks fan and he always does his best to
make sure we make it to a couple games. Then on Saturday night I'm going
to be up in the Coca-Cola suite for the Virginia Tech-Alabama game. I'm
a Virginia guy, so I'll be pulling for the Hokies on Saturday. It's so
much fun to make it out to the games and be a fan."
