STANLEY SEARCHING FOR A “LADY IN PINK” TO HONOR AT

LOWE’S MOTOR SPEEDWAY

Stanley and Susan G. Komen for the Cure® to Honor Special Breast Cancer Survivor

During NASCAR Banking 500 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway

STATESVILLE, N.C. (Wednesday, September 2, 2009) – Stanley, sponsor of the No. 19 Dodge driven by Elliott Sadler in the Sprint Cup Series, is teaming with Susan G. Komen for the Cure® in search of a “Lady in Pink” to honor at Lowe’s Motor Speedway on Saturday, October 17, 2009.

Starting today, fans can go to www.stanleymotorsports.com and in 500 words or less nominate their loved one, someone who a breast cancer survivor, to be Stanley’s “Lady in Pink” for the Charlotte race.

Nominations will be received up until September 15. Stanley will select four semi-finalists at that time and post the four entries on www.stanleymotorsports.com for fans to vote on their favorite from September 20-25. The top entry in total votes is the grand prize winner.

The “Lady in Pink” grand prize winner will have her name displayed on the TV panel of the No. 19 Stanley Dodge for the NASCAR Banking 500 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway and receive a VIP race package.

For the second year in a row, Sadler will drive a pink No. 19 Stanley/Susan G. Komen for the Cure Dodge in the fall race at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. Last year, Stanley donated more than $100,000 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure and raised additional funds for the cause by auctioning off the pink wheels featured on the No. 19 Dodge to start the race and Sadler’s pink Stanley firesuit.

Sadler, who races each week with a pink ribbon decal above the driver’s side door on the No. 19 Dodge, is excited for the opportunity to continue raising awareness and support for breast cancer research.

“This is such an important cause and one that’s very close to my heart since my mother faced the disease. My family was very fortunate that my mother made it through her battle with breast cancer, and has now been cancer free for almost two years, but it was by no means an easy road. The folks at Stanley and I decided that it would be great to honor a special someone as our “Lady in Pink” who has gone or is going through a similar battle right now and give them a special experience at the racetrack.”
