NEW
HAMPSHIRE
RACE PREVIEW
STATESVILLE,
N.C. - Elliott Sadler makes Richard Petty Motorsports' 2009 Nationwide
Series debut on Saturday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Braun Racing
will field the No. 10 Auto Value Bumper to Bumper car as well as the
cars for Kasey Kahne at the four remaining Petty Nationwide Series races
in 2009.
Sadler is an five-time winner in the Nationwide Series while Braun has
visited victory lane four times in its history and posted seven top-five
finishes in 2009 with Jason Leffler and Brian Vickers.
Sadler Quotes
RETURN TO NATIONWIDE SERIES: "I'm pretty excited about all this. Racing
is fun but when you go into a race knowing you are one of the favorites,
that makes your job a lot more fun. Braun Racing has done a good job
this season and I expect we'll have a great run Saturday afternoon. Auto
Value Bumper to Bumper has been a loyal sponsor with our Petty team for
a long time and I couldn't think of giving them anything better than a
trip to victory lane. Plus this is a big race for this series since its
being televised by ABC."
WHAT YOU CAN LEARN ON SATURDAYS: "I don't know if what you learn on
Saturday has a direct effect on how you will race on Sunday. But,
running well is never a bad thing. Maybe as a driver you can learn what
the track will do as the race goes on or maybe you just work on your
rhythm. But if you go out there, run well, build some confidence, that
could translate over to Sunday's race."
"King & Kasey" Sweepstakes
Auto Value Bumper to Bumper, Richard Petty and Kasey Kahne have teamed
up for the "King and Kasey" sweepstakes. The sweepstakes and instant-win
game is a promotional program that Auto Value / Bumper to Bumper
created to celebrate their sponsorship of Petty and Kahne. The grand
prize is a 2009 Dodge Challenger and a trip for two to the race weekend
events at Charlotte in October. Daily instant-win prizes include NASCAR
merchandise. Fans can enter the sweepstakes and play the online instant
win game at
www.thekingandkasey.com until September 13.
