2009 Sadler Fan Club Member Winners

Elliott and Hermie have been surprising Sadler Fan Club members throughout the season with invites to the track. The fan club members have been able to enjoy pit and garage access as well as Meet and Greets with Elliott and Hermie. If you're a Sadler Fan Club member you could be next!!

"How do I describe in words how great the weekend experience was? Since we had never had the opportunity to even go to a race before, I wanted to do everything!! Friday we watched practice and qualifying and then Trackside Live!!!

Then I got to stand on the elevated platform off stage to watch the show!! Saturday we watched practice from the pits, visited the garage and checked out the vendors.

Sunday we went to the motorcoach. Elliott and Hermie were so easy and fun to visit with and they seemed to really appreciate the chocolate chip cookies I brought. During the rain delay on Sunday, we were able to sit in the garage with all the pit crews! On Monday, we came back for the race and were treated like old friends when we saw the pit crew.

We started watching the race from the back of the pit area and then Amanda came off the pit box and introduced herself to us and then offered us the chance to sit on the box to watch. Then before we even had a chance to think about it they led us up the ladder. Wow......wow...how can you describe how exciting it was to watch the race from on top of the pit?? PRICELESS!! AND then Robby gave us the wrecked quarter panel as a souvenir. Too Cool...

"What a pleasant surprise to receive a call from Hermie to invite me and a guest to the Pocono race and be presented with Garage passes as well for both of us. Meeting Elliott on a one-on-one basis was wonderful and he was extremely hospitable and gracious. We stayed Monday for the rescheduled race and were certainly glad we did. Having the opportunity we did to view from the pits and be able to see what goes on behind the pit box to prepare for the next stop, what the crew does to help the team improve and achieve a good finish and just all the happenings was a neat perspective that I would never have known about. I�m fairly new to NASCAR (6 years) and I�m learning something new about the sport all the time. I�m glad I was able to receive the �education� I did this past weekend and it�s made me an even bigger fan than before. "

Tom & I want to thank Elliott and Hermie for giving us the opportunity to experience the excitement of the pits and the garage area with passes at pocono. It was a thrilling education to see all of what goes on behind the scenes at the race track. During Sunday's rainy start it was nice that Elliott meet with us for a little while at his motor coach to chat before starting his day. We really appreciated the hospitality from everyone involved in offering this special weekend.

"I think the best part of the whole day was being able to spend 15 minutes or so with Elliott in his motorcoach. I loved being in the garage area during practice on Friday when the cars would come rushing past us going back & forth into the garages. The smell of the fuel, exhaust, tires, etc was awesome!!!!! You don't get the same effect with just pit passes! It was a dream come true!!!!! This just proves why i love Elliott."

"I again want to thank you and everyone else involved at the fan club for the passes. My brother and I had a fantastic time! I was so surprised when I got the phone call and was invited to the race. What an amazing opportunity to get a behind the scenes look of our favorite sport! The best part was being invited into the drivers' motor coach area and actually meeting Elliott, his wife, and Hermie on their home turf. It felt like we were part of the NASCAR family. The day was filled with so many highlights from being in the garage area during practice, to watching the race from the pits, and having access to the people and stars of the sport. The chance to see and meet some the greatest drivers in the world was the opportunity of a lifetime, one that we won't soon forget!"
