April 16th, 2009: We just made it out to Phoenix, AZ. It took us about five and a half hours to fly out here from Emporia.  We landed around 1:15pm local time then Amanda and I headed over to a golf company so I could be fitted for a new set of clubs.  I’m sure that will not help my game any but it’s always fun to get a new set.

I had a relaxing off weekend in Nags Head, NC.  I actually went deep sea fishing on Monday.  I caught a 140lb tuna.  It took me thirty minutes or so to reel it in.  The water was smooth as glass, but it was cold!  Here’s a picture of it.  Amanda took it with her camera phone so it’s kinda small but you can at least see how big the tuna is.

Hopefully we’ll have a good weekend out here in the desert.  We qualified real well out here last spring and were running well until we had some engine trouble.  The fans out here are awesome so hopefully we’ll give them something to cheer about!!
