January 18th, 2010:

Hey guys. I hope you've enjoyed the winter as much as I have. I had a great off season with some R&R, deer hunting, getting ready for our new baby boy and getting ready for the 2010 season.

The pre-season has been going well. I was in Nashville for Sound & Speed and have been to Charlotte several times for photoshoots and commercials.

This week we're kicking off the Charlotte Motor Speedway media tour. It's always a great event where the motorsports media get to see all of the teams, drivers and sponsors leading into 2010. They actually brought the tour up to the Wood Brothers shop in Stuart, VA in 2000. David Pearson was a guest. That's my favorite media tour memory!!

Well, I'm gonna start packing. I'm off to Richmond, VA this afternoon then Charlotte in the morning, then onto San Antonio, TX, then back to Charlotte for a photoshoot then back to Emporia on Thursday night. It'll be a busy week but it'll be a lot of fun.

The Daytona 500 is just around the corner. We're back in a Ford and I want a ring!
