September 8th, 2009:

I hope all of you guys are doing well. We’ve been plugging along on the No. 19 team and seem to be making some strides. Congrats to “Double K” on his win Sunday night. That’s great timing for him and the No. 9 team and it sets them up to make the chase so long as nothing crazy happens on Saturday night at RIR. Hopefully we’ll have a good showing this weekend in front of the hometown crowd in Richmond, VA. I would rather win at RIR than anywhere else on the schedule.

We’ve been sporting the Stanley colors on the No. 19 for the last few weeks and are changing it up this week and will be back in the Insignia / Best Buy car. That paint scheme is cool and you won’t be able to miss me this weekend!

I have a pretty busy week. I’m off to Virginia Beach on Thursday to speak with teens about safe driving on behalf of Allstate. That’s such a great program and I’m stoked to be able to speak to teens in my area. After that I’m headed to Best Buy in Richmond, VA for an autograph session at 6pm. Check out the appearance section for details.

Friday I’m pretty slammed from noon until 6:30 or so. Saturday I have several appearances but will try and catch some college football games when I’m not napping or doing meet and greets.
